If you are a vocalist in the Chicago or surrounding areas, you can participate in our COUGAR COLLABORATIVE ENSEMBLES. The Gospel Collaborative performs gospel featuring traditional and contemporary artists, and the CHORALE COLLABORATIVE performs the music of African American Classical Composers and other compositions from the classical and multi-cultural choral traditions.
The CSU Cougar Community Chorale (CCC)is an opportunity for CSU to partner with vocalists in the greater Chicago area and to represent CSU through local, regional, and global tours.
There are 2 different units for the CCC, including the Classical Unit performing classics by Handel, Bach, and significant African American Composers, and the Gospel Unit that will perform all genres of Gospel from traditional to contemporary gospel renditions.
